Vodafone Speed Test

Measure your real speed on Vodafone 4.5G/5G mobile and Vodafone Net home internet.

Measure your connection instantly: download, upload, ping and latency — the same methodology as Speedtest, open and transparent.

Overview

How fast is your Vodafone connection really?

Vodafone offers both a broad mobile network (4.5G plus 5G launched in 2026) and fixed home internet under the Vodafone Net brand in Turkey. On the fixed side, service runs over fiber (GPON/XGS-PON), VDSL and ADSL; per Vodafone's announcements, new-subscriber sales have shifted toward fiber while existing customers' DSL plans continue. Confirm current sales terms with Vodafone. On this page you can measure the real performance of both your mobile and your home connection.

Per Vodafone's announcements, upload speeds were raised: in supported XGS-PON areas up to symmetric gigabit (1000/1000), and in other fiber areas up to 200 Mbps depending on the area. Your real upload speed therefore varies with the fiber technology at your address.

Why it varies

Factors that affect internet speed

Wi-Fi or cable?

On Wi-Fi, signal strength, distance and interference reduce speed. A wired (Ethernet) connection reveals your line's true capacity.

Infrastructure and distance

Fiber speed is distance-independent; VDSL/ADSL drops with distance from the exchange. On mobile, signal and cell congestion dominate.

Device and modem

An old network card, weak CPU or a non-Gigabit modem becomes a bottleneck on high-tier plans.

Simultaneous usage

Downloads, streaming and gaming on other devices share the same line and lower your measured speed.

Peak hours

Evenings (8 PM-midnight) are peak; local node or international link congestion can cause minor drops.

Server distance and latency

The test server's distance affects ping (latency) and jitter. NETMETRİK selects the nearest high-capacity server.

Accurate testing

How to measure your speed correctly

  1. 1If possible, connect your computer to the modem with an Ethernet cable; Wi-Fi can show a result below the line.
  2. 2Pause downloads, streaming and updates on other devices so only the test uses the line.
  3. 3Turn off any VPN/proxy and 'data saver' mode in your browser or operating system.
  4. 4Close other tabs, press the START button at the top of the page, and avoid other activity until the measurement finishes.
  5. 5Take several measurements at different times, save them, and compare the average against your plan speed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Vodafone speed test

Is my Vodafone Net home internet fiber?

It depends on your address: some areas get fiber-to-the-home, others VDSL (copper last mile). Your plan name and speed indicate which; plans up to 1000 Mbps are fiber, while 100 Mbps and below are usually VDSL.

How do I accurately test my Vodafone mobile speed?

Stand still where the signal is strong, close apps downloading/updating in the background, and press START. Measurements taken while moving or in weak signal do not reflect true network performance.
