Terms of Use

NETMETRİK is an independent test platform that uses the NQF (NETMETRİK Quality Framework) methodology, designed to measure the speed, latency, stability and quality of your internet connection.

You can use our speed test service without becoming a member. Membership is entirely optional and is offered solely to sync your test history across your devices. If you choose to create an account, you accept the following terms:

• To create an account you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of your legal representative.
• You declare that the information you provide during registration (email, etc.) is accurate, current and belongs to you.
• You may open only one account per email address; you may not transfer your account to anyone else.
• You can sign in with email or Google; in both methods these terms and the Privacy Policy apply.

Your password is personal and confidential; it is your responsibility to keep your password secure and to be responsible for all transactions carried out through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must change your password immediately and notify us. NETMETRİK cannot be held liable for unauthorized access resulting from your own negligence.

When you start the speed test, data download and upload is temporarily performed between your device and our test servers (NetmetrikServer). During this process, data may be consumed from your quota (data plan). NETMETRİK is not responsible for any additional charges that may arise from mobile (cellular) data usage.

Your test results are recorded (anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy) for the purpose of improving our services and creating statistical industry reports, and may be included in open data sets.

You may use our platform only for individual and lawful purposes to measure your internet performance. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using automation tools, bots or scrapers that place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our systems.
• Attempting to manipulate test results (“Gaming”), creating deceptive packets at the network layer.
• Reverse engineering, attempting to gain unauthorized access to source code.
• Presenting or copying the NETMETRİK name, logos and interface on other platforms for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs), operators or corporate companies that wish to use test data in corporate marketing materials or official reports must be subject to NETMETRİK Insights agreements. The consumer interface may not be used in a manipulative way (selective data sharing) for the purpose of commercial performance claims.

NETMETRİK does not guarantee 100% accuracy of measurement results, uninterrupted operation or compatibility with specific hardware. Test results may vary depending on momentary network congestion, Wi-Fi interference and device performance. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

NETMETRİK (and its directors, employees and partners) cannot be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

You can delete your account and remove your test history at any time. NETMETRİK reserves the right to suspend or close your account without prior notice in the event of a violation of these terms of use, misuse of the system or unlawful use. Termination of membership does not prevent the retention of anonymized and statistical data.

NETMETRİK reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. Changes take effect the moment they are published on the platform. Your continued use of the services means you accept the changes.
