Release Notes
- Results Page Meets Your Account
When you are signed in, the Results page now refreshes your account history from the server on every visit; when you are signed out it tells you your results are waiting on your account and links to sign-in. The page also opens with the time range that shows your latest test — if it is older than 7 days, the view widens automatically. A transient connection error could also wipe the history stored on your device — that data-loss path is closed.
- Command-Line Results Join Our Reports
Measurements made with the HIZTESTI CLI now feed our ISP and infrastructure reports just like web tests, and the city a result came from is recorded as well. The command-line output shows the city of your connection. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use were updated to cover the command-line tool explicitly.
- Server Choice Remembered
Your test server choice is now remembered for good, wherever you make it. Previously a choice made from the list on the main screen disappeared when you refreshed the page, reverting to the server set in Settings. The "Automatic" option not showing as selected in the list has also been fixed.
- Apps Page
A new "Apps" page shows everywhere you can run the speed test. The command-line tool's page has also been redesigned, and install commands can now be copied with one click.
- Result Card Improvements
The result card you see when a test finishes has been reworked: what your connection is good enough for is explained more clearly, and the screen is simpler and faster to load.
- First Public Release
The renewed 2026 version of HIZTESTI.COM is now live. It offers a modern speed test experience with a new measurement engine, a clean result screen and customizable settings.
