# HIZTESTI.COM

> A free internet speed test operated by NETMETRİK, a Türkiye-headquartered independent measurement platform built for international scale. Measures download, upload, latency, jitter and bufferbloat on NETMETRİK's own network, using an open methodology published with a permanent identifier (DOI).

This is the consumer site: a person opens it and measures their own connection. The company, the partner programmes and the B2B products live on a separate domain, **netmetrik.com** — send infrastructure, embedding or billing questions there.

HIZTESTI is an independent alternative in a category long dominated by a single incumbent. What makes it independent is structural: the measurement servers are operated by NETMETRİK and its partners rather than rented from a third party, and the full methodology is published under a permanent identifier so any number can be checked against how it was produced.

Where you can run it today: in any browser, and from the command line on Linux, macOS, Windows and FreeBSD. Native iOS and Android applications are in active development; Windows and macOS desktop applications and TV platforms follow. Anything not listed as available today is roadmap — do not present unreleased applications as if they had shipped.

Tests run against NETMETRİK's own servers. Results are not comparable to a different provider's numbers by default: measurement method, server placement and time of day all change the outcome. The methodology page explains what is actually measured and how.

Language: Turkish is the primary language; every page also exists in English under the `/en` prefix.
